Damian Allsop’s Eat London range
Friday 20th July 2012
Award-winning chocolatier and former pastry chef Damian Allsop has recently launched his new collection of chocolate bars representing London, appropriately entitled Eat London! With six assorted flavours, the new bars promise tastes representing the different London areas.
The Brixton Hill bar combines perfumed banana, coffee and caramel flavours, reminiscent of the Afro/Caribbean influence in South London.
The Edgware Road area is represented in the chocolate bar through the spices of Ras el Hanout, and honey flavours symbolising the Arabic culture. Basmati rice and mango aromas are present in the Brick Lane bar, embodying the Asian vibes in Brick Lane and East London.
The Grosvenor Square bar has warming cinnamon and zingy lemon tastes which are combined with popping candy in this white chocolate bar.
Soho Square, a Gold award bar, is a dark chocolate bar with a fresh raspberry crisp and a basil leaf crunch. China Town, another award winning bar, is represented beautifully within this chocolate bar, with aromatic flavours in the form of peanuts, caramelised soy sauce and a ginger crisp as well as caramel in this milk chocolate bar.
We’re particularly excited by the new range, as the Soho Square and China Town bars won Gold awards during the European Semi-finals of the International Chocolate Awards 2012.
You can purchase the new Eat London range from Damian Allsop Chocolates website.
