Sir Hans Sloane were the first small UK Chocolate makers to create their own self conched chocolate which is conched on site for 72 hours resulting in the smoothest, melt in your mouth experience.
Bill McCarrick , International Master Chocolatier heads up the small team of Chocolatiers who together make our hand crafted chocolates of the highest quality.
Bill sources the best cocoa beans directly from the plantations and works closely with their owners. The basis of a wonderful chocolate experience is intrinsically linked to the beans. Once the beans arrive at The Studio the unique refinement occurs.
From this base we make a wide range of truffles, bars, pralines and beads as well as bespoke pieces for parties, corporate events and private functions.
Our 2011 Great Taste Gold Award winners were our two Drinking Chocolate Beads – which come in milk and dark. Not only do the beads make a wonderful hot drinking chocolate but are fabulous to use to decorate cakes and chocolate pieces and also look stunning in glass bowls to have as a post dinner nibble with a coffee or after lunch as a light dessert.
We also host a wide variety of parties and events at The Studio for children and adults and would be thrilled to host your special event or make a bespoke piece for you.
