A tribute to Mott Green
We lost a dear friend at the weekend. On Saturday, Mott Green, founder of the Grenada Chocolate Company, died in a tragic accident working on equipment at the factory. Mott was the epitome of everything Chocolate Week stands for. The Grenada Chocolate Company is a cocoa-growing and chocolate-making cooperative producing chocolate from tree to bar on the Caribbean island of Grenada. For Mott it wasn’t about making money, it was about making chocolate and empowering the people of Grenada. He didn’t make chocolate for chocolate’s sake; he did it to make a difference. This is our tribute to him.
