MELT was founded by Louise Nason in 2006 and with head chocolatier Chika Watanabe the London-based, family-owned company maintains strong principles, from sourcing chocolate and other raw ingredients to how all the chocolates are handmade and packaged.
Delicious chocolate bars and fresh chocolates are made in Melt's two Notting Hil kitchens. Melt has a collaborated with acclaimed chefs such as Mark Hix, and Syke Gyngell and British designers – Cecilia Birtwell and Sophie Conran to name but a few. As well as the original Ledbury Road store in the heart of Notting Hill, there are MELT concessions at both Harrods and Selfridges, and products are available online at www.meltchocolates.com
